Inman is a small village in Holt County, Nebraska, United States. It is a quiet place in the heart of Nebraska. In 2020, about 95 people lived there.
History of Inman
Inman was officially planned and settled in 1881. This happened when the Fremont, Elkhorn and Missouri Valley Railroad built its tracks to this spot. The village was named after William H. Inman, who was one of the first settlers in the area.
Geography of Inman
Inman covers a total area of about 0.74 square kilometers (0.29 square miles). All of this area is land, with no water. The village is located along U.S. Route 20 and U.S. Route 275. It is southeast of a larger town called O'Neill.
