Irvine Creek is a small waterway, or creek, located in Centre Wellington, Wellington County, in southwestern Ontario, Canada. It's part of the larger Great Lakes Basin, which means its waters eventually flow into the Great Lakes. Irvine Creek is also a tributary of the Grand River, meaning it's a smaller stream that flows into a larger river.
Where Irvine Creek Flows
Irvine Creek starts where two smaller streams meet in an area called West Garafraxa Township, near a place called Dracon. From there, it flows towards Lake Belwood.
Journey to the Grand River
Before reaching Lake Belwood, the creek changes direction. It turns southwest, then northwest, and passes through the community of Living Springs.
After Living Springs, it turns southwest again and goes under Ontario Highway 6. It then enters another area called Nichol Township.
The creek continues its journey, reaching the community of Salem. Finally, it flows southwest and joins the Grand River in the community of Elora. The Grand River then carries these waters all the way to Lake Erie.
