Isaac Yiadom (born February 20, 1996) is a professional American football player. He plays as a cornerback for the San Francisco 49ers in the National Football League (NFL). Isaac went to Doherty Memorial High School in Worcester, Massachusetts. He also played college football at Boston College.

College Football Journey
After finishing high school, Isaac Yiadom decided to play for Boston College. He chose Boston College over other schools like Bryant, Holy Cross, and Connecticut.
After his senior year, Isaac was invited to the 2018 Senior Bowl. This is a special game where top college players get to show off their skills before the NFL Draft. Two of his teammates from Boston College, Harold Landry and Kamrin Moore, were also invited. This was a big deal because it was the first time since 2006 that three players from Boston College were invited to the Senior Bowl.
Becoming a Professional Player
Getting Ready for the NFL Draft
On December 18, 2017, Isaac Yiadom accepted his invitation to play in the 2018 Senior Bowl. Before this game, many people didn't know much about him. He was ranked as the 47th best cornerback prospect. This was because he didn't get targeted much by opposing teams in college.
However, Isaac really impressed scouts and analysts during the Senior Bowl practices. He showed how good he was, and this helped his chances for the NFL Draft a lot. On January 27, 2018, he played in the Senior Bowl game. He was part of the South team, coached by Vance Joseph of the Denver Broncos.
Isaac also went to the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. This is where players do different drills to show their speed, strength, and agility. He performed most of the drills there. Later, on March 21, 2018, he took part in Boston College's "pro day." Here, he did more drills like the 40-yard dash and vertical jump. After all these tests, experts thought Isaac would be picked in the third or fourth round of the NFL Draft.
Playing for the Denver Broncos
The Denver Broncos picked Isaac Yiadom in the third round of the 2018 NFL draft. He was the 99th player chosen overall. He was also the 11th cornerback picked in that draft. On May 25, 2018, Isaac signed a four-year contract with the Broncos.
Moving to the New York Giants
On September 3, 2020, Isaac was traded to the New York Giants. The Giants sent a draft pick to the Broncos in return. Isaac played one season with the Giants and started in 10 games.
Time with the Green Bay Packers
Isaac was traded again on August 17, 2021, this time to the Green Bay Packers. He was traded for another cornerback named Josh Jackson. Isaac started a game for the Packers in Week 6 because other players were injured. However, he was later moved to a backup role. He also spent some time on the reserve/COVID-19 list but was activated later. On January 21, 2022, he was released by the Packers.
Brief Stays with Other Teams
On March 24, 2022, Isaac signed with the Houston Texans. He was released by them in August of that year. Later, on November 17, 2022, Isaac joined the New Orleans Saints' practice squad. He was then moved to their main team on December 5. He re-signed with the Saints on March 23, 2023.
Joining the San Francisco 49ers
On March 18, 2024, Isaac Yiadom signed a one-year contract with the San Francisco 49ers.
