Isabela Soares de Souza (born January 13, 1998) is a Brazilian actress, singer, and model. She is well-known for her roles as Brida in the Disney Channel Brazil series Juacas (2017–2019). She also played Beatriz Urquiza in the Disney Channel Latin America show Bia.

Life and Career

Isabela Souza was born on January 13, 1998, in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. When she was 10 years old, Isabela and her family moved to Rio de Janeiro. There, she started her acting training at a special school for performing arts.

Early Acting Roles

Isabela's first professional acting job was in 2014. She performed in a play called Verão Sem Fim. A year later, she was chosen to play Brida in Juacas. This was an original series made by Disney Channel Brazil. For this role, she moved to Florianópolis to take surfing lessons. She also filmed the series there.

Disney Channel Star

In 2018, Isabela sang the song "Minha Vez." This song was for the Brazilian soundtrack of the animated series Elena of Avalor. Later that year, she was chosen for a big role. She became Beatriz "Bia" Urquiza, the main character in the Disney Channel Latin American show Bia. She worked alongside Spanish actor Julio Peña. To play Bia, Isabela moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina. She also had to learn Spanish for the role.

In 2019, Isabela was part of the soundtrack for the movie Aladdin. She sang "Callar" and "Ninguém me cala." These were the Spanish and Portuguese versions of the song "Speechless."

Recent Projects

In January 2020, it was announced that Isabela would be a judge. She joined the jury at the Viña del Mar International Song Festival in Chile. In April of the same year, she released a song called "Vamos a mi ritmo." This was a collaboration with the singer Lasso. The music video was filmed in Mexico. In 2021, Isabela released two singles. These were "Anyone" (a cover of Justin Bieber's song) and "Cliché." Both songs were collaborations with singer Vitória Frozi.
