The Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards Mexico is a super fun annual show! Kids like you get to vote online for their favorite stars in music, TV, movies, and more. The winners receive a special blimp-shaped trophy. This exciting event usually takes place in September. It is then shown a few days later on the Nickelodeon channel.

Past Shows and Highlights
Let's look back at some of the past Kids' Choice Awards Mexico shows and what made them special.
2010 Edition: The Start of Something New
In June 2010, Viacom decided that Mexico should have its own Kids' Choice Awards. The first show happened on September 4, 2010. It was held at "El Teatro Chino de Six Flags" inside the Six Flags México park. Omar Chaparro and Anahí were the hosts. The show was later shown on TV on October 14, 2010.
During this show, stars like the cast of iCarly and singer Justin Bieber sent special video messages. They thanked fans for voting for them as Favorite TV Show and Favorite Song.
2011 Edition: Big Winners and New Faces
The 2011 awards were filmed on September 3, 2011, also at Six Flags, Mexico. It first aired on September 22. Danna Paola and Brian Amadeus from Moderatto were the hosts.
Some big winners included Big Time Rush for Favorite International TV Show and Favorite International Artist. Katy Perry won for Favorite Song. The show Grachi was a huge hit, winning three awards, including Favorite TV Show.
2012 Edition: A New Venue and More Fun
The third Kids' Choice Awards Mexico took place on September 1, 2012. It was held at the Pepsi Center WTC for the first time. The show was first shown on TV on September 18. Jaime Camil was the host.
The show Miss XV won the most awards that night. International winners included iCarly for Favorite International TV Show. One Direction won for Favorite International Artist and Favorite Song.
2013 Edition: Jaime Camil Returns
The Kids' Choice Awards Mexico 2013 happened on August 31, 2013. It was again at the Pepsi Center WTC in Mexico City. Jaime Camil returned as the host.
Some of the winners included Victorious for "Favorite TV Show". Big Time Rush won "Favorite International Artist". One Direction took home the award for "Favorite Song".
2014 Edition: New Hosts Take the Stage
The awards ceremony for 2014 was held on September 20. It was shown on Nickelodeon on September 25. Singer Paty Cantú and presenter Roger González were the hosts for this year.
2015 Edition: Moving to the National Auditorium
The 2015 awards took place on August 15, 2015. This year, the show moved to the National Auditorium. The presenters were singers Maite Perroni and Mario Bautista.
2016 Edition: Music and YouTubers
The 2016 awards were held on August 20, 2016, in Mexico City. The show was broadcast on Nickelodeon on August 23, 2016. Galilea Montijo and Colombian YouTuber Sebastián Villalobos hosted the event. There were also musical performances by artists like Dulce María, CD9, Sebastián Yatra, Urband 5, and Ha*Ash.
2017 Edition: More Music and YouTube Stars
The 2017 awards happened on August 19, 2017, in Mexico City. It was shown on Nickelodeon on August 22, 2017. Mario Bautista and YouTuber Caeli were the hosts. The show featured music performances from Río Roma, Fifth Harmony, CNCO, and Pitbull.
2018 Edition: The Polinesios Host
The event in 2018 took place on August 18, 2018, at the National Auditorium in Mexico City. Nickelodeon Latin America broadcast it on August 21. The popular YouTube trio Lesslie Yadid, Ana Karen, and Rafael Velázquez, known as Los Polinesios, were the hosts.
2019 Edition: Jaime Camil's Third Time
The 2019 event was held on August 17, 2019, at the National Auditorium in Mexico City. It was broadcast on Nickelodeon Latin America on August 20. YouTuber La Bala and Jaime Camil hosted the show. This was Jaime Camil's third time hosting!
2020 Edition: A Virtual Show
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 event was a virtual show. It took place on November 3, 2020. Camilo and Evaluna Montaner were the hosts for this special online edition.
2021 Edition: Online Fun Continues
The Kids' Choice Awards Mexico 2021 happened on September 7, 2021, on Nickelodeon. Like the year before, it was a virtual show. Internet personalities Bryan SKabeche, Eddy SKabeche, and Fede Vigevani hosted it. You could watch the ceremony live on YouTube and Facebook, as well as on the TV channel.
2022 Edition: Back in Person!
The Kids' Choice Awards Mexico 2022 took place on August 30, 2022, on Nickelodeon. For the first time in two years, the show was held in person! Alex Hoyer, Danna Paola, and Luis de la Rosa were the hosts. The ceremony was also streamed live on YouTube, Facebook, and Pluto TV.
2023 Edition: Star-Studded Performances
The Kids' Choice Awards Mexico 2023 was held on August 26 at the National Auditorium in Mexico City. It was broadcast on August 29, 2023. Juanpa Zurita and Macarena Achaga were the hosts. The ceremony featured exciting performances from groups and artists like Kidz Bop, Picus, Daniela Calle, Aitana, Mario Bautista, and Alex Hoyer.
2024 Edition: Recent Celebrations
The Kids' Choice Awards Mexico 2024 took place on November 16, 2024, in Mexico City. Ángela Aguilar and Michael Ronda hosted the event. The show was broadcast on TV on November 19.
