Michael Ronda Escobosa (born September 28, 1996) is a popular Mexican actor and singer. He is famous for playing Poncho in the TV show Como dice el dicho and Simón Álvarez in the Disney Channel Latin America series Soy Luna.

From Mexico City to TV Star
Michael Ronda was born in Mexico City, Mexico. His father, Davide Ronda, has Italian roots, and his mother, Vicky Escobosa, is from Mexico. Michael is the middle of three children, with an older sister named Alessandra and a younger brother named Kevin.
His acting career took off in 2011. He played the role of a young Camilo in the show La fuerza del destino. That same year, he also starred in two movies, La Noche del Pirata and Bacalar.
However, many fans first got to know him as Poncho in the TV series Como dice el dicho. His fame grew even more when he landed the role of Simón Álvarez in the hit Disney show Soy Luna in 2016. More recently, he played Javier Williams in the Netflix teen drama Control Z.
