Ha*Ash is a popular American music group. It's a duo made up of two sisters, Ashley Grace and Hanna Nicole. They are from Lake Charles, Louisiana. The sisters started their band in 2002. Their unique name, Ha*Ash, comes from combining parts of their own names. They are known for their Latin pop and country pop songs.

Their Musical Journey

Starting with Their First Album

In 2003, Ha*Ash recorded their first album. It was also called Ha*Ash. A Mexican producer named Áureo Baqueiro helped them make it. In April, they released their first song, "Odio Amarte." Their second song, "Estés Donde Estés," came out in July 2003. Then, in February 2004, they released a third song, "Te Quedaste."

Releasing More Music

After their first album, they made their second one, Mundos Opuestos. Áureo Baqueiro also worked with them on this album. The first song from this album was "Amor a Medias." It became very popular in Mexico in April 2006. This song was even used to promote products for Sony. Their next song, "Me Entrego a Ti," was written by a Colombian artist named Soraya. It was also a big hit.

Recording in Nashville

In early 2008, the sisters recorded their third album, Habitación Doble. They made this album in Nashville, Tennessee. This album had a special song called "Already Home." It was their first official song recorded in English. They sang it with the artist Brandi Carlile.

New Sounds and Collaborations

Their fourth studio album was A Tiempo. It was released on May 16, 2011, by Sony Music Latin. They spent almost a year recording this album. They worked in places like Los Angeles, California and Milan, Italy. Ha*Ash worked with Áureo Baqueiro again and also with Michele Canova.

A Special Live Album

After their A Tiempo tour ended in 2013, Ha*Ash started working on a new album. This album was called Primera Fila: Hecho Realidad, and it came out in 2014. Ha*Ash was the youngest group to record a "Primera Fila" album. These albums are special because they include live performances. This album had songs from their past four albums. It also had 8 brand new songs. The CD and DVD showed pictures from their hometown in Louisiana. It also included a live concert filmed in Mexico City.

Recent Albums and Milestones

Their album 30 de Febrero was released on December 1, 2017. It featured other artists like Prince Royce and Abraham Mateo. The song "100 Años" with Prince Royce was the first song released from the album. It quickly became number one in Mexico in December 2017. On October 3, 2018, Ha*Ash made history. They became the first Latin music band to be part of the Spotify Singles program. This program lets artists record special versions of their songs.

On December 6, 2019, the duo released a live album called En Vivo. This album was recorded during a concert in Mexico on November 11, 2018.
