Phineas and Ferb is a super fun American animated television show. Disney made this popular series. It first aired on TV on February 1, 2008. The show has even been nominated for an Emmy award! You can watch it on the Disney Channel and other related channels.
The story is about two stepbrothers, Phineas and Ferb. They have a pet platypus named Perry. Every day, the boys come up with amazing and impossible plans. They build huge machines in their backyard. Imagine a giant roller coaster or a massive waterslide!
Their older sister, Candace, always tries to tell their mom about the boys' wild projects. But somehow, whenever Mom comes to the backyard, the machines are gone! It's a running joke in the show. Almost every episode also has a catchy song that the characters sing.
The awesome creators of Phineas and Ferb are Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh. They also worked together on another cartoon called Rocko's Modern Life for Nickelodeon.

Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension was a special movie. It premiered on the Disney Channel on August 5, 2011. In this movie, the characters make a big discovery. They find out that their pet platypus, Perry, is actually a secret agent! The gang travels to another dimension. There, they use many cool inventions to save the day.
Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel
In 2012, news came out about an exciting crossover episode. It would bring Phineas and Ferb together with Marvel Entertainment superheroes! This special episode aired in the summer of 2013. It was called Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel.
The episode featured famous Marvel Comics superheroes. These included Spider-Man, the Hulk, Iron Man, and Thor. They also faced off against villains like the Red Skull, M.O.D.O.K., Venom, and Whiplash. This was a huge event! It was the first major animated crossover between Marvel and Disney. Disney had bought Marvel in 2009.
Phineas and Ferb: Star Wars
There was another cool crossover episode called Phineas and Ferb: Star Wars. This special episode combined the world of Phineas and Ferb with the famous Star Wars universe. It was set to premiere in the summer of 2014. It officially aired on Disney Channel on July 26, 2014.
