Phineas and Ferb is an American animated television program produced by Disney. It was first on TV on February 1, 2008. It has been nominated for an Emmy award. It airs on the Disney Channel and related channels. The program is about two brothers from a blended family with a pet platypus, who do impossible plans.
In every episode, Phineas and Ferb create big machines in their backyard, like a roller coaster or a huge waterslide. Their sister, Candace, tries to show her mother the machines. But always when the mother is in the backyard, the machines have disappeared. Almost all episodes have a song which the characters sing.
The creators of the show are Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh. They also worked together on the Nickelodeon series Rocko's Modern Life.

Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension was on the Disney Channel on August 5, 2011. In the movie the characters discover Perry the platypus is an agent. They go to another dimension and utilize many inventions.
Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel
In 2012, it was said that a crossover between Phineas and Ferb and Marvel Entertainment, will air in summer of 2013. It will be called Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel. It will have Marvel Comics superheroes Spider-Man, the Hulk, Iron Man and Thor and the villains the Red Skull, M.O.D.O.K., Venom and Whiplash. It is the first major animated crossover between Marvel and Disney since the acquisition of Marvel by Disney in 2009.
Phineas and Ferb: Star Wars

A Phineas and Ferb episode with a crossover with Star Wars by Disney to premiere in Summer 2014 same as how the mission marvel crossover It later confirmed in a Hollywood online article that it is set to premiere July 26 2014 on Disney Channel.
