Isle Lake is a cool, medium-sized lake located in central Alberta, Canada. It's about 80 kilometers (50 miles) west of the big city of Edmonton. This lake is an important part of the local environment.

The Sturgeon River flows into and out of Isle Lake. This river eventually joins the much larger North Saskatchewan River. In 2009, the lake's water level was lower than usual because the Sturgeon River didn't bring in as much water.
