Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (born on April 17, 1987) is a talented Canadian actress, musician, model, and TV personality. She is most famous for her role as Steffy Forrester Finnegan on the CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful. For this role, she has won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series three times, in 2019, 2021, and 2023.

Early Life
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Her parents are Alexandra MacInnes and James C. Wood. She has a diverse background, including indigenous (Cree), Scottish, French, and Brazilian roots. Her half-sister, Dani Probert, was married to the late NHL player, Bob Probert. Jacqueline also has a great-uncle who is a Scottish singer named Alasdair Gillies. Before becoming an actress, Wood studied acting at Ryerson University, the Centre for the Arts, and the Armstrong Acting Studio.

The Bold and the Beautiful
Jacqueline Wood first gained attention in a commercial for First Choice Haircutters. When she was 18, she moved to Toronto to start her acting career. In May 2008, she began playing the main role of Steffy Forrester on the American CBS Daytime soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful. She once said about playing Steffy, "I love playing her and developing her character. She is so different from me. It's like a way to express myself, and it lets my other side come out on The Bold and The Beautiful set five days a week."
In 2012, Wood received her first nomination for an Emmy Award. This was for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series for her work as Steffy at the 39th Daytime Emmy Awards. She found out about her nomination while filming in Italy.
In 2013, Wood got her second nomination in a row for the same award at the 40th Daytime Emmy Awards. She submitted scenes where Steffy surprises Liam (Scott Clifton) with annulment papers. Later in 2013, Wood decided to take a break from the show. However, it was soon announced that she would continue with the series, but in a less frequent role.
In April 2015, it was announced that Wood would return to The Bold and the Beautiful full-time. She has been on the show ever since. For the 2018 Daytime Emmy Awards, Wood was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. The next year, she was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. This made her one of only five actresses to be nominated in all three acting categories for drama shows. At the 2019 Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony, Wood won her first Daytime Emmy for Lead Actress. She won this award again in 2021 and 2023.

In 2011, Jacqueline Wood starred in her first movie, Final Destination 5. Filming for this horror movie took place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Wood played a character named Olivia Castle. Her character was described as "a smart-mouthed beauty who wears glasses." Final Destination 5 was a popular and successful movie, earning over $157 million. It also received good reviews from film critics.
Wood also had a guest role on The CW action-adventure show Arrow in 2012. She played Sara Lance. In 2013, Wood filmed a Lifetime TV movie called Her Husband's Betrayal. This was a suspense thriller where she starred with Shawn Roberts. The movie first aired on August 2, 2013. In July 2014, Wood appeared on the comedy series Anger Management, alongside Charlie Sheen.

Besides acting, Wood sometimes works as a disc jockey and singer. She released her first song, "After Hours," in January 2012. It was a dance song.
In August 2013, it was announced that Wood would host a new E! TV series called Party On. This show had eight episodes and explored the best party scenes around the world. The show premiered on December 5, 2013.
Personal Life
Jacqueline Wood cares a lot about pet rescue. She uses social media like Twitter and Instagram to share information about dog shelters and how important it is for pet owners to be responsible. She also volunteers for charities that help animals.
In November 2017, Wood announced that she was engaged to Creative Artists Agency talent agent, Elan Ruspoli. They got married in July 2018. They have four sons: Rise Harlen (born March 2019), Lenix (born February 2021), Brando Elion (born May 2022), and Valor James (born August 2023). Wood and Ruspoli live with their children in Los Angeles, California, in Westlake Village.
