Jake Farrow (born October 18, 1972) is an American writer and former actor for television. He is well-known for his work on popular Nickelodeon shows. These include Drake & Josh, iCarly, Victorious, Henry Danger, and Danger Force.
As an actor, Jake Farrow played Gavin Mitchell on Drake & Josh. He also voiced Rex Powers, a puppet character on Victorious.

Early Life and Family
Jake Farrow was born in Marin County, California. His mother, Janet, was a high school history teacher. His father, Michael, was an air force pilot. Jake had an older sister named Melissa, who passed away in 2015 after an illness.
Career in Television
Acting Roles
From 2004 to 2007, Farrow played Gavin, a funny employee, on the Nickelodeon show Drake & Josh. Gavin often had humorous lines and sometimes made Drake and Josh feel a bit awkward. Jake Farrow also appeared as Gavin in the movie Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh. He even played Gavin again in an episode of iCarly called "iStart a Fan War".
Farrow is also famous for voicing Rex Powers. Rex is Robbie Shapiro's puppet in the show Victorious. Rex is a very sassy and independent puppet.
Writing and Producing
Since 2004, Jake Farrow has worked closely with Dan Schneider. Schneider created many popular Nickelodeon shows. Farrow wrote an episode of Drake & Josh. Before that, he wrote a story for an episode of What I Like About You.
After Drake & Josh, Farrow became a writer and producer for other Nickelodeon series. These included iCarly and Victorious. He also worked as a writer and producer for Henry Danger. On Henry Danger, he voiced a character called Invisible Brad in a few episodes.
Farrow has also produced and co-written episodes for Game Shakers. He is an executive producer and writer for the Nickelodeon show Danger Force. He also wrote for the Emmy Award-winning show Arrested Development.
