Jamie Blair Glover was born and grew up in Barnes, a part of London, England. He comes from a family of actors! His parents are the well-known actors Julian Glover and Isla Blair.

Jamie went to Frensham Heights School and later studied acting at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. While he was there, he shared a flat with another actor, Philip Glenister.

Starting His Acting Career

Jamie first appeared on stage when he was just eight years old. He played a character called young Marcius in a play called Coriolanus. Even though he had other chances to act as a child, his parents wanted him to decide about his career when he was older.

Jamie Glover made his first TV appearance in a show called Jupiter Moon. Since then, he has been in many other TV series.

He played Andrew Treneman, a deputy head teacher, in the first two seasons of Waterloo Road. He came back to the show for a short time in 2009 and then returned again in 2023. In 2024, Jamie joined the cast of the medical drama Casualty as Patrick Onley, a new doctor. He was on the show until June 2024.

You might also have seen him in shows like Birds of a Feather, Casualty, New Tricks, and Midsomer Murders. He also played William Russell in the Doctor Who TV movie, An Adventure in Space and Time (2013).

Jamie has a lot of experience in theatre. Besides Coriolanus as a child, he has performed in many plays. These include Henry V, The Glass Menagerie, and The Cherry Orchard. He even acted alongside the famous actress Judi Dench in All's Well That Ends Well.

In 2017, Jamie joined the cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in London. He played the main role of Harry Potter!
