Jamie Grace Harper (born November 25, 1991) is an American singer, rapper, and songwriter. She creates Contemporary Christian music, which is a type of music that shares Christian messages. Jamie Grace is from Atlanta, Georgia.
In 2010, a famous musician named TobyMac discovered her songs on YouTube. He was so impressed that he signed her to his record label, Gotee Records. Her song "Hold Me" came out in 2011. This song earned her a nomination at the 2012 Grammy Awards. She also won the 2012 Dove Award for New Artist of the Year.

Jamie Grace's Early Life
Jamie Grace Harper is the youngest daughter of Bishop James Harper and Pastor Mona Harper. She grew up loving music. Jamie Grace sang and played instruments at church and at home. She often made music with her older sister, Morgan. Both sisters were taught at home.
How Jamie Grace Started on YouTube
On July 16, 2006, Jamie Grace started a YouTube channel. She began sharing videos of her songs online. Over time, her videos became popular. Other musicians like Audio Adrenaline's Mark Stuart and David Mullen noticed her talent.
Eventually, she got a chance to sing and act on a TV show called iShine Knect. She also went on tour with the show. In 2010, TobyMac found her videos. He signed her to his record label, Gotee Records, later that year.

Jamie Grace's first collection of songs, called an EP, was titled Hold Me. It was released by Gotee Records on February 22, 2011. The main song from the EP, "Hold Me," quickly became very popular on Christian radio stations.
Her first full album, One Song at a Time, came out on September 20, 2011. Later that year, on November 29, 2011, she released another EP called Christmas Together.
Touring and New Albums
Jamie Grace was a main artist and speaker on the Revolve Tour. This tour was organized by Women of Faith. She performed alongside other artists like Britt Nicole, Group 1 Crew, and Hawk Nelson. On May 4, 2011, her first single, "Hold Me," reached the number one spot on Christian Hit Radio.
Her second studio album, Ready to Fly, was released on January 28, 2014. It was produced by Christopher Stevens and David Garcia. The first song from this album was "Beautiful Day." Another inspiring song from the album was "Fighter," which is about people who keep going even when things are tough. Jamie Grace also joined the Winter Jam Tour in 2015 on the West Coast.
Leaving Gotee Records and New Projects
In August 2016, Jamie Grace and her sister Morgan Harper Nichols announced they were leaving Gotee Records. On November 25, 2016, Jamie Grace released a song called "Party Like a Princess." This song was a special release for her 25th birthday and to promote her upcoming third album.
In February 2017, she shared that her new album would be delayed. This was so she could focus on her mother's health. On April 21, she released the first song from the new album, The Happy Song. On July 11, she announced on YouTube that the album would be called 91. It was released on September 1, 2017. Ten days later, on July 21, she shared another song, Daughter of a King, on YouTube.
After the album came out, she started a new project called '91 Anthems. This YouTube project features 91 original songs and covers. These songs are inspired by stories sent in by her fans. She has also released other songs, like "Wait it Out," and continues to create new music.
