When Jamie first arrived in Los Angeles, he found it hard to get acting jobs. He worked as a host at a restaurant and tried out for many commercials. He couldn't find an agent. So, he decided to become his own agent! He even created a fake agent name, "Marty Power," to get attention from real agents.

Jamie later talked about his experiences with this movie on his YouTube channel. The movie's tough reviews also inspired him to host a documentary called Heckler in 2007. This film looked at how stand-up comedians deal with audiences who are not always kind.
