Jamison Rudy Van Brewer, born on November 19, 1980, is an American who used to play professional basketball. He was a point guard, which is a player who usually brings the ball up the court and helps set up plays. Jamison played for four years in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Jamison Brewer played college basketball for two years at Auburn University. In his final year there, he was really good! He averaged 8 points, 7 rebounds (when you grab the ball after a missed shot), and 6 assists (when you pass the ball to a teammate who then scores).
Jamison Brewer's Pro Career
Jamison Brewer was chosen by the Indiana Pacers in the second round of the 2001 NBA draft. He was the 40th player picked overall.
Playing for the Indiana Pacers
During his three years with the Pacers, Jamison played in 36 regular season games. He spent a lot of time on the team's injured list. He averaged a little more than two points per game. On December 20, 2003, he scored his highest points in a single game, getting 12 points against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Time with the New York Knicks
In 2004, the New York Knicks signed Jamison. He played in 18 games for them. In February 2005, he was traded to the San Antonio Spurs. However, he didn't play any games for the Spurs before being released. The Knicks signed him again before the 2005–06 season, but he was quickly released.
Jamison's last NBA game was on February 11, 2005. He played for about four and a half minutes in a game where his team lost to the Boston Celtics. In his NBA career, he averaged 1.6 points, 1.0 assists, and 0.9 rebounds per game.
