Jarnéia Richard-Noel (born 12 June 1994) is a talented English actress and singer. She is famous for playing Catherine of Aragon in the musical Six. She performed this role on the original UK tour and in London's West End at the Arts Theatre, Lyric Theatre, and Vaudeville Theatre. Jarnéia is also part of a pop girl group called SVN.

Early Life and Training

Jarnéia Richard-Noel grew up in Northampton, England. She started dancing when she was just five years old. Her love for the arts continued through college.

In 2014, Jarnéia began training at the Urdang Academy in Islington, London. She studied for three years to earn a diploma in professional Musical Theatre. She graduated in 2017. Jarnéia also has family roots from Grenada and Trinidad and Tobago.

Jarnéia's Career Journey

Before becoming a professional singer and dancer on a P&O cruise, Jarnéia performed in many shows. These shows took place while she was training at the Urdang Academy.

Early Performances

In 2016, Jarnéia starred in a play called Shakespeare Shorts. She also performed in other productions at the academy. These included Co-Equal, Spamalot, Carrie, and Rent.

She also sang in a special concert called 'Xmas Factor' in 2016. In 2017, she was part of a concert version of The Color Purple. Jarnéia also worked as a commercial dancer in 2018.

Starring in Six

Since 2018, Jarnéia has been a main cast member of the musical Six. In this popular show, she plays Catherine of Aragon, one of the wives of King Henry VIII.

The Six production first toured around the UK. Then, it moved to the Arts Theatre in London. Later, it transferred to the Lyric Theatre. In 2019, Jarnéia and her fellow cast members were nominated for a big award, the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Musical.

From 2019 to 2021, she performed alongside other talented actresses. These included Courtney Bowman, Natalie Paris, Alexia McIntosh, Sophie Isaacs, and Danielle Steers.

A special UK tour of Six was planned for drive-in venues. However, it was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Jarnéia continued to perform in Six at the Lyric Theatre. This was one of the first musicals to return to London's West End after the pandemic.

In September 2021, Jarnéia moved with the show to the Vaudeville Theatre. She gave her final performance as Catherine of Aragon on November 14, 2021.

Recent Roles

In July 2022, it was announced that Jarnéia would star in a new musical called Millennials. She performed in this show at The Other Palace theatre during its summer run.

In September 2023, news came out that Jarnéia would play Gloria in Madagascar The Musical. This musical is based on the popular DreamWorks movie. The show started at Theatre Royal Plymouth and is touring the UK, Ireland, and other countries like Monaco, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
