Jasmine Danielle Tookes (born February 1, 1991) is a famous American fashion model. She is known for her work with the brand Victoria's Secret and for appearing on the covers of many popular magazines. In 2022, she was named the "Most Beautiful Face in the World" by TC Candler.

Early Life and Discovery
Jasmine Tookes was born and grew up in Huntington Beach, California. She has a younger sister who is 19 years younger than her. Before becoming a model, Jasmine was very athletic. She practiced gymnastics for ten years and also played volleyball and softball.
Her mother works as a fashion stylist for celebrities. Jasmine was discovered and started her modeling career around age 15 when she was at one of her mother's work appointments. She has said her family background is a mix of African American, Brazilian, European, and West Indian heritage.
A Successful Modeling Career
Jasmine's first big modeling jobs were in 2010 for the brands UGG Australia and Gap. Soon after, she appeared in a campaign for DKNY and had a photo shoot in the famous Vogue Italia magazine. This helped her become known around the world.
In 2011, the website Models.com named her one of the top 10 new models. Style magazine also called her their top new model that year. She has walked in fashion shows for dozens of famous designers, including Burberry, Prada, Versace, Louis Vuitton, and Ralph Lauren.
Jasmine has also been featured in many major fashion magazines like Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and Elle in countries all over the world.
Victoria's Secret Angel
A major highlight of Jasmine's career was working with Victoria's Secret. She first walked in the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2012. That same year, she made a guest appearance on the TV show Hawaii Five-0 with other models.
In 2015, she officially became a Victoria's Secret Angel, a title given to the brand's most famous models. In 2016, she was chosen to wear the Fantasy Bra at the fashion show in Paris. This special bra was worth $3 million and made her the third Black model to be given this honor.
Her success led to her being listed on Forbes magazine's "The World's Highest Paid Models" list in 2016, with earnings of about $4 million that year.
Business Ventures
Besides modeling, Jasmine is also a business owner. She started an active-wear company called JOJA with her friend and fellow model Josephine Skriver. In May 2025, Jasmine launched her own beauty brand called Brunel.

In September 2020, Jasmine announced she was engaged to Juan David Borrero. He is a director at Snap Inc., the company that created the app Snapchat. His father, Alfredo Borrero Vega, is the former vice president of the country of Ecuador.
The couple got married on September 4, 2021, in Quito, Ecuador. They welcomed their first child, a daughter, on February 23, 2023. In July 2025, they announced they are expecting their second child.
