Jason Shivers (born November 4, 1982) is an American professional football coach and former player. He currently works for the Toronto Argonauts in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He is a co-defensive coordinator, defensive backs coach, and helps with player scouting.
Shivers used to play football as a defensive back. He played in the CFL, the National Football League (NFL), and NFL Europe. The St. Louis Rams first picked him in the 2004 NFL draft. He also played for the Chicago Bears, Hamburg Sea Devils, New York Giants, Argonauts, and Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

Early Life and High School
Jason Shivers graduated from South Mountain High School in Phoenix in 2001. He was a very talented player in high school. Phoenix Metro Magazine named him one of the best defensive players in Arizona.
He was a top player as a wide receiver and free safety. In his senior year, he made 110 tackles and caught four interceptions. As a junior, he caught 15 passes for 600 yards and 10 touchdowns. On defense, he had 70 tackles and caused three fumbles.
Shivers was also a great track athlete. He won state titles in the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes in 2001. He was also part of a state champion relay team.
College Football Career
Jason Shivers played college football at Arizona State University. He was a key player on their defense. He led his team in tackles for three years in a row.
In 2003, he made 104 tackles and caught three interceptions. He had 121 tackles in 2001 as a sophomore. As a freshman in 2000, he recorded 89 tackles.
