Je'Kel Reshard Foster (born July 22, 1983) is an American professional basketball player. He plays as a point guard or shooting guard. He is known for playing for many different teams around the world.
College Basketball Journey
Je'Kel Foster started his college studies at Howard College in Texas. After one year, his basketball coach moved to Chipola College in Florida. Je'Kel went with him to continue playing basketball.
Later, Je'Kel moved to Ohio State University. There, he played for the university's basketball team, the Buckeyes. He competed in the NCAA, which is a big sports league for college students in the U.S.
Professional Basketball Career
After finishing college, Je'Kel Foster was not chosen in the 2006 NBA draft. This means no NBA team picked him right away. However, he soon signed with a team in Germany called EnBW Ludwigsburg for the 2006–07 season.
He then moved to France to play for Paris-Levallois for the 2007–08 season. From 2008 to 2010, he played for EWE Baskets Oldenburg in Germany. In July 2010, he signed with Triboldi Cremona in Italy for one season.
In July 2011, Je'Kel joined Bayern Munich, a famous German team. He played there until August 2012. After that, he signed with Spirou Charleroi in Belgium in September 2012. He played there for a few months before moving to Alba Berlin in Germany in December.
In October 2013, he signed with JSF Nanterre in France. He left that team in December 2013. On February 5, 2014, he joined Sidigas Avellino in Italy for the rest of that season.
Later, on January 13, 2015, he signed with Medi Bayreuth in Germany. On December 9, 2015, he moved to Venezuela to play for Guaros de Lara. Then, on March 1, 2016, he signed with ICL Manresa in Spain for the rest of the 2015–16 season.
On September 8, 2016, Je'Kel Foster signed with C.R.D. Libolo in Angola. He played for them until 2018.
