Je'Kel Foster's College Basketball Journey
Je'Kel Foster started his college studies at Howard College in Big Spring, Texas. He played basketball there for one year. After that, his basketball coach, Chris Jans, moved to Chipola College in Marianna, Florida. Je'Kel Foster went with him to Chipola College. Later, Foster decided to continue his studies and play basketball at Ohio State University. He joined their team, the Buckeyes. They played in the NCAA, which is a big college sports league.
Je'Kel Foster's Professional Basketball Career
After college, Je'Kel Foster was not chosen in the 2006 NBA draft. But he still became a professional player.
Playing in Germany and France
In 2006, he signed with EnBW Ludwigsburg. This team plays in the Basketball Bundesliga, which is Germany's top basketball league. He played there for the 2006–07 season. For the next season (2007–08), he moved to France. He joined Paris-Levallois, a team in the French LNB Pro A league. From 2008 to 2010, he played for EWE Baskets Oldenburg back in Germany. With this team, he became a German Bundesliga champion in 2009. He was also named a German Bundesliga All-Star twice, in 2007 and 2012. In 2007, he was even named the German League Newcomer of the Year.
Playing in Italy and Belgium
In July 2010, Je'Kel Foster signed with Triboldi Cremona in Italy. He played there for the 2010–11 season. In July 2011, he joined Bayern Munich, another German team. He played there until August 2012. In September 2012, he moved to Belgium to play for Spirou Charleroi. He stayed there until December of that year. Then, he went back to Germany to play for Alba Berlin. He joined them after their point guard got injured.
Later Career and International Teams
In October 2013, Je'Kel Foster signed with JSF Nanterre in France. He left that team in December 2013. On February 5, 2014, he signed with Sidigas Avellino in Italy for the rest of that season.
Later, on January 13, 2015, he signed with Medi Bayreuth in Germany. He played there for the rest of the season. On December 9, 2015, he joined Guaros de Lara in Venezuela. This team plays in the LPB. On March 1, 2016, he signed with ICL Manresa in Spain. He finished the 2015–16 season with them.
On September 8, 2016, Je'Kel Foster signed with C.R.D. Libolo in Angola. This team plays in the BIC Basket league. He played for Benfica Libolo until 2018.
