About Jehangir Ruttonjee

Jehangir Ruttonjee was born in 1880 in Bombay, India. When he was 12 years old, in 1892, he moved to Hong Kong. There, he joined his father, Hormusjee Ruttonjee, in business.

His Education and Business

Ruttonjee went to St. Joseph's College on Hong Kong Island. After finishing school, he started working with his father. In 1931, he began his own brewery business. Later, he sold this business to San Miguel. He then opened another brewery in 1948 in Sham Tseng.

Helping the Community
