Early Life and Inspiration
Jennifer Meyer was born in Los Angeles, California. Her family has a Jewish background. Her father, Ronald Meyer, worked as a top executive at a big movie company called Universal Studios. Her mother is Ellen Meyer.
Jennifer learned to make jewelry from a very young age. Her grandmother, Edith Meyer, started teaching her how to make enamel jewelry when Jennifer was just six years old. This early experience sparked her love for design.
In 1999, Jennifer finished her studies at Syracuse University. She studied child and family psychology. After college, she moved back to Los Angeles. There, she worked for a fashion company called Ralph Lauren. She also began creating her own jewelry designs.
