Jenny Jules is a talented English actress. She began her acting journey in a youth theatre program at the Tricycle Theatre in Kilburn, London. This theatre became a very important place for her career. She performed in many plays there.
Some of her early roles at the Tricycle Theatre included plays by August Wilson, like Two Trains Running and Gem of the Ocean. She also acted in Walk Hard by Abram Hill and Wine in the Wilderness by Alice Childress. In 1992, Jenny won a Time Out Award for her role as Mediyah in the play Pecong. That same year, she appeared on TV with famous actress Helen Mirren in Prime Suspect, a show for ITV.

She performed in several main roles at the Almeida Theatre. These included A Chain Play, Theodore Ward's Big White Fog, and Harold Pinter's The Homecoming. In 2010, she starred in Lynn Nottage's play Ruined, directed by Indhu Rubasingham.
National Theatre and Other Stages
In 2009, Jenny played Jane Pilkings in Wole Soyinka's Death and the King's Horseman at the National Theatre. The next year, in 2010, she played Ruth Younger in A Raisin in the Sun at the Manchester Royal Exchange. For this role, she won a Manchester Evening News Theatre Award for Best Supporting Actress.
In 2011, Jenny returned to the role of Mama Nadi in Ruined at the Arena Stage in Washington, D.C.. That same year, she won the Critics' Circle Theatre Award for Best Actress for her amazing performance as Mama Nadi.
In 2012, she played Mavis in Moon on a Rainbow Shawl at the National Theatre. She also played Regan in King Lear at the Almeida Theatre. In 2013, Jenny spent most of the year playing Cassius in an all-female production of Julius Caesar. This play was first shown in London and then moved to Brooklyn, New York.

In 2014, Jenny Jules performed in Father Comes Home from the Wars, Parts 1, 2 & 3 in New York and Boston. She made her big Broadway debut in 2016. She played Tituba in The Crucible at the Walter Kerr Theatre. In March 2019, Jenny took over the role of Hermione Granger in the Broadway production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. This is a very popular play based on the famous book series.
