Jeremiah White went to The Haverford School for high school. He was a star player on their soccer team. He even earned "All-American" honors, which means he was one of the best players in the country.
He also played for youth soccer teams like FC Delco. While still in high school, he was named FC Delco's player of the year.
College Soccer at Wake Forest
After high school, Jeremiah chose to play college soccer for Wake Forest University. He picked Wake Forest over other great schools like Duke and Clemson.
During his first year, he played as a forward. He scored his first college goal against UNC-Charlotte. This goal helped his team win the game in overtime.
His second year was very successful. Jeremiah led the ACC in scoring goals. He was the first Wake Forest player to do this since 1983. He also scored three goals in one game against the University of Richmond. This is called a hat-trick.
In his third year, Jeremiah faced some injuries. These injuries kept him from starting games until late in the season. Even with injuries, he still led his team in scoring. He was also named to the All-ACC team for the second year in a row.

Jeremiah White's Professional Career
Starting in Europe: OFK Beograd
After college, Jeremiah wanted to play soccer in Europe. In January 2004, he signed with a Serbian club called OFK Beograd. He chose this over offers from Major League Soccer (MLS) in the United States.
Jeremiah's time with OFK Beograd was short and challenging. He faced a difficult situation in March 2004. This event received attention from news groups around the world. A month later, Jeremiah asked to leave the team. He was allowed to go on April 6, 2004.
Moving to Greece: Panserraikos
After leaving Serbia, Jeremiah looked for new teams in Europe. He tried out for clubs in the Netherlands and Belgium. He eventually signed a one-year contract with Panserraikos, a team in the Greek Second Division.
Jeremiah played his first game for Panserraikos on September 19, 2004. His team won the match 1–0. While playing for Panserraikos, Jeremiah often played in a position that wasn't his usual one. He was asked to play as a target forward, which is unusual for someone his height.
He also had to play even when he was hurt. He later suffered a serious head injury that kept him off the field for two months. After recovering, he asked to leave the club. He was released in January 2005.
Playing in France: FC Gueugnon
Once again, Jeremiah needed a new team. He tried out for clubs in Denmark and France. On June 6, 2005, he signed a two-year contract with FC Gueugnon in French Ligue 2.
Jeremiah spent some time with Gueugnon's reserve team at first. He scored his first goal in Ligue 2 on November 25, 2005. It was a winning goal from a free kick. Even though he led the team in scoring with four goals, he didn't always get to play consistently.
Success in Denmark: AGF Aarhus
Jeremiah then looked to play in Scandinavia. He signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with AGF Aarhus in Denmark on January 28, 2007. The team had been moved down from the top league, but they hoped to return.
Jeremiah played his first game for AGF on April 1, 2007. He scored his first goal for the club in that game. AGF was promoted back to the top Danish Superliga on June 17, 2007. Jeremiah played the whole game that day.
During a break in 2007–08, Jeremiah had an accidental collision. This caused three facial fractures, and he needed surgery. But he recovered quickly and was back on the field very fast. In December 2009, Jeremiah and AGF agreed to end his contract early.
Adventures in Saudi Arabia and Poland
In January 2010, Jeremiah signed with Ettifaq FC, a club in Saudi Arabia. He was one of the first American soccer players to play in the Middle East.
In the summer of 2010, he moved to Poland. He signed a one-year contract with the Polish club GKS Bełchatów.
Return to the MLS
Jeremiah White returned to the United States in March 2012. He signed with the New England Revolution in Major League Soccer. However, he was released from the team on June 27, 2012.
Playing for the United States National Team
Jeremiah White made his first appearance for the United States national team on January 19, 2008. This was a friendly match against Sweden. Many players on the team were from MLS clubs. Jeremiah came into the game as a substitute. The U.S. team won the match 2–0.
