Jessica Cosby (born May 31, 1982) is an American athlete. She is best known for her skills in the hammer throw. She has competed in major events like the Olympic Games and the World Championships. Her best throw ever was 74.2 meters, which she achieved on May 22, 2014.

Jessica Cosby's Athletics Journey

Jessica Cosby started her athletics career with great success. While competing for the UCLA Bruins track and field team, she won a national title. In 2002, she became the champion in the shot put at the 2002 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships. This was a big achievement for her college career.

Competing on the World Stage

Jessica continued to shine in the hammer throw. She was the runner-up at the 2010 USA Outdoor Championship. The very next year, she won the national title in the hammer throw.
