Jetrin Wattanasin (Thai: เจตริน วรรธนะสิน), also known as J Jetrin, is a famous Thai singer, rapper, and dancer. He became well-known in the music world thanks to a lot of support from the Thai entertainment company, GMM Grammy. Since 1991, he has released many popular music albums. He also travels around the world for his concerts. He recently finished a big tour in the United States called "The Return of J Jetrin." This tour was the largest by any Thai artist in the U.S., with shows in 12 cities from Hawaii to the East Coast.

Music Career

Early Albums and Success

In 1991, Jetrin released his first solo album, Jor-Ae-Bor. This helped him become famous on his own, stepping out of the shadow of his older brother, Jirayuth "Joe" Wattanasin, who was already a well-known singer.

After his seventh album, 7th Heaven, came out in November 2007, Jetrin performed over 60 shows across Thailand. He ended this series of concerts with a special show called "Radioactive the Musical Party by J Jetrin" at the Impact Arena in Bangkok.

Touring the United States

Jetrin recently completed a tour of the United States. The tour was named "The Return of J Jetrin." He performed in many cities, including Honolulu, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Fort Worth, Dallas, Washington DC, Atlanta, Boston, New York City, Houston, and Chicago. During the tour, he sang with backing musicians MJ and Bowbo from "3 Kings and the Babe" and DJ 2 Fives. The tour was sponsored by Singha Beer.

Acting Career

Jetrin has also appeared in two movies. In 2006, he was in Re-Cycle, a horror-fantasy film from Hong Kong and Thailand by the Pang brothers. He played a supporting role in this movie. In 2008, he starred in Friendship, a Thai movie about growing up. In this film, he played an older character who looked back on his younger days and his first love.
