Kim Ji-soo (Korean: 김지수), known professionally as Ji Soo, is a South Korean actor. He was born on March 30, 1993. He is currently working in the Philippines.

Early Life and School Days
When Ji Soo was in elementary school, he was a talented judo athlete. He even competed in national competitions! However, he had to stop playing judo because of injuries. Later, in 2012, he trained to become an actor at JYP Entertainment.
Acting Journey
Starting Out and Becoming Known (2009–2016)
Ji Soo began his acting career on stage in 2009. After that, he appeared in several short films. He even had a main role in an independent movie called Seoul Mates, which was made by Korean and Filipino filmmakers.
He first became well-known for his role in the high school drama Angry Mom in 2015. He then starred in popular TV series like Cheer Up! (2015), Page Turner (2016), and Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo (2016). He also appeared in the movie One Way Trip (2016).
Growing Popularity (2017–2020)
In 2017, Ji Soo acted in the fantasy comedy Strong Woman Do Bong-soon on JTBC. He played a passionate new police officer in the show. Next, he starred in the crime drama Bad Guys 2 on OCN.
In 2018, Ji Soo was part of a special drama called Ping Pong Ball and a youth romance drama on Netflix called My First First Love. In 2020, he joined a new talent agency called KeyEast.
Time Away from Acting (2021–2023)
In 2021, Ji Soo was cast as the main male lead in the Korean drama River Where the Moon Rises. He appeared in the first six episodes of the show. However, some serious claims were made against him about his past school days. Because of these claims, the TV channel KBS decided to replace him in the drama. Another actor, Na In Woo, took over his role from episode nine.
Ji Soo also began his mandatory military service in October 2021. After four weeks of basic training, he completed the rest of his service working in a social worker department. His contract with KeyEast ended in May 2021 due to the issues.
Returning to Entertainment (2024–Present)
Since mid-2024, Ji Soo has been living in the Philippines. He has started acting again with new projects on GMA Network. He made a guest appearance in the action drama Black Rider. He also had a role in the medical drama Abot-Kamay na Pangarap. On August 28, 2024, Ji Soo officially signed a contract with Sparkle, which is GMA's talent agency.
Health and Personal Life
On September 13, 2016, Ji Soo had surgery for a bone infection called acute osteomyelitis. This is when a bone or its marrow gets inflamed, usually from an infection. He returned to filming his drama Fantastic on September 27 and was discharged from the hospital on October 1.
