Jim Henson's Muppet Babies facts for kids
Muppet Babies is a super fun American animated TV show made for kids! It was created by The Jim Henson Company and Nick Jr. Productions. The show was broadcast on Nickelodeon from 1992 to 1999. It became very popular and even won a special award called the Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Series for four years in a row!
The idea for Muppet Babies first popped up in a movie called The Muppets Take Manhattan. In that film, you could see puppet versions of famous Muppet characters like Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Fozzie Bear, Scooter, and Rowlf when they were just little babies. These baby puppet versions even appeared again in another home movie scene in A Muppet Family Christmas.
