The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius is an American computer animated television series. It was shown on the Nickelodeon television network starting in 2002. The show is a spinoff of the 2001 movie, Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius. It even had its own spinoff show called Planet Sheen, which started in 2010.
The series is about a young genius named Jimmy Neutron. He loves to experiment with laboratory equipment. Sometimes, his inventions cause big problems in his town, Retroville. Jimmy often has to use his smarts to fix the trouble he accidentally created.
Meet the Characters
Main Characters in Retroville
- Jimmy Neutron (James Isaac Neutron) is the main character of the show. He is a ten-year-old genius with a super high IQ of 210. His best friends are Carl Wheezer and Sheen Estevez.
- Goddard is Jimmy's loyal mechanical dog. He often helps Jimmy with his inventions and sometimes even helps fix the messes they cause in Retroville.
- Carl Wheezer (Carlton Ulysses Wheezer) is one of Jimmy's best friends. He is a bit shy and loves llamas very much.
- Sheen Estevez (Ramon Guevera Estevez) is another one of Jimmy's best friends. He is very energetic and easily distracted. Sheen is a huge fan of a superhero character called Ultra Lord.
- Cindy Vortex (Cynthia Aurora Vortex) is Jimmy's rival at school. She is also very smart and often competes with Jimmy. Even though they tease each other, they start to like each other more in the later seasons.
