Early Life and Family
Jimmy Raye III grew up in Irvine, California. He went to Irvine High School there. His father is Jimmy Raye II. His dad was also a football coach. He was an offensive coordinator for many NFL teams. One of those teams was the San Francisco 49ers.
College Football Career
Jimmy Raye III played college football at San Diego State University (SDSU). He was a wide receiver for the Aztecs team. He played from 1986 to 1990. He earned a degree in public administration. When he left SDSU, he had 111 catches. This placed him among the top receivers in the school's history.
Professional Football Journey
Jimmy Raye III started his National Football League (NFL) career in 1991. He signed with the Los Angeles Rams. He played in the last two games of that season.
