Joffrey Roy Reynolds, born on November 26, 1979, is a famous former Canadian football player. He was a talented running back. Joffrey played for eight years with the Calgary Stampeders in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He became the team's top rusher ever, gaining an amazing 9,213 yards!

For six years in a row, Joffrey ran for over 1,000 yards each season. He was chosen as a CFL All-Star four times. He also helped the Stampeders win a Grey Cup championship in 2008. Joffrey went to the University of Houston. Today, he lives in Houston, Texas, with his wife, Brittany, and their three children.

Joffrey's Early Life and College Football

Joffrey Reynolds was born in Houston, Texas. He grew up in Tyler, Texas, where he went to Lee High School. Even in high school, he was a star running back on the football team.

After high school, Joffrey played college football at the University of Houston. He played in 35 games for the Cougars. During his time there, he carried the ball 640 times. He gained 2,946 yards and scored 23 touchdowns. Joffrey still holds a record for the Cougars! In one game in 2002 against East Carolina University, he ran for 300 yards and scored 4 touchdowns.

Joffrey's Professional Football Career

Joffrey Reynolds had a long and successful career in professional football. He played in both the NFL and the CFL.

Playing in the NFL

In 2003, the St. Louis Rams signed Joffrey as a player who wasn't chosen in the draft. With the Rams, he returned 6 kickoffs for 109 yards. After being released by the Rams, he joined the Cleveland Browns. The Browns later released him, but he played for the Rhein Fire in NFL Europa. Joffrey also had a short time with the New York Giants.

Playing in the CFL with the Calgary Stampeders

In 2004, Joffrey signed with the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League. He quickly became a key player for the Stampeders. He was named a CFL All-Star three times (in 2005, 2006, and 2008). He was also chosen as a Western Division All-Star four times between 2005 and 2008.

In 2008, Joffrey was the top rusher in the CFL. He gained 1,310 yards and scored 10 touchdowns. That year, the Calgary Stampeders won the Grey Cup championship! They beat the Montreal Alouettes 22–14. On July 24, 2009, Joffrey ran for 131 yards in a game against the B.C. Lions. This made him the Stampeders' fourth all-time leading rusher.

During the 2011 season, Joffrey's playing time started to decrease. He was eventually replaced as the team's starting running back. On January 23, 2012, the Stampeders released him. Joffrey Reynolds is still the Calgary Stampeders' all-time rushing leader. He finished his career with an amazing 9,213 rushing yards!
