Johnny Baldwin (born April 1, 1984) is an American former professional football player. He played as a linebacker, which is a key defensive position in football. Johnny was chosen by the Detroit Lions in the 2007 NFL draft. He also played college football at Alabama A&M University.
After playing for the Lions, Johnny also played for other teams. These included the Kansas City Chiefs and the Washington Redskins in the NFL. He also played in the Canadian Football League (CFL) for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Later, he joined the California Redwoods in the United Football League (UFL).

He played as a linebacker for his high school team. In his senior year, he was recognized as an All-Area and All-District player. This means he was one of the best players in his region!
College Football Career
After high school, Johnny went on to play college football. He attended Alabama A&M University. He continued to excel as a linebacker there.
From 2004 to 2006, he was named All-SWAC three times. SWAC stands for the Southwestern Athletic Conference. This is a group of colleges that play sports together. Being All-SWAC multiple times shows how talented he was in college.
