Johnny Rep's Football Journey
Johnny Rep was a talented striker who played with his right foot. He was a key player for the Dutch national team. He played in two FIFA World Cups. These were the 1974 World Cup in West Germany and the 1978 World Cup in Argentina.
Amazing Club Success
Johnny Rep scored the winning goal for Ajax Amsterdam in the 1973 European Cup Final. This big match was against Juventus in Belgrade. He also helped SC Bastia reach the finals of the 1978 UEFA Cup. Fans saw his partnership with Rob Rensenbrink as a very strong attacking force.
