Jolbert Alexis Cabrera Ramírez (born December 8, 1972) is a former professional baseball player from Colombia. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for several teams. These included the Cleveland Indians, Los Angeles Dodgers, Seattle Mariners, and Cincinnati Reds.
Jolbert was a versatile player, meaning he could play many different positions. He was an Outfielder and an Infielder. He batted and threw with his right hand. Jolbert is also the older brother of another famous baseball player, Orlando Cabrera, who was a shortstop.

Playing Baseball: His Career Highlights
Jolbert Cabrera started his journey in Major League Baseball with the Cleveland Indians. His first game was on April 12, 1998. He played in only one game that season.
A Memorable Game in 2001
The year 2001 was one of Jolbert's best seasons with the Cleveland Indians. He had a batting average of .261, hit 3 home runs, and brought in 38 runs. He also stole 10 bases.
One exciting moment happened on August 5, 2001. In a game shown on national TV, Cleveland was losing badly, 14–2, in the seventh inning. But they made an amazing comeback! They scored many runs and ended up winning 15–14. Jolbert hit the winning single, which is called a "walk-off single," to end the game.
Moving to New Teams
After his time with the Indians, Jolbert was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2002. He played there for a couple of seasons. Later, in 2004, he moved to the Seattle Mariners.
In 2008, Jolbert signed a contract with the Cincinnati Reds. He was called up to play in the major leagues on June 10. On September 7, 2008, he hit another walk-off single against the Cubs. This hit won the game for the Reds with a score of 4–3.
Over his eight years playing in MLB, Jolbert Cabrera had a batting average of .257. He hit 18 home runs and had 157 RBIs.
After Playing: Coaching and Managing
After his playing career, Jolbert Cabrera started coaching baseball. In 2017, he was a coach for the Colombian national baseball team in the World Baseball Classic.
Later, in the 2023 World Baseball Classic, he took on an even bigger role. He served as the manager for the Colombian team. This means he was in charge of leading the team.
