Jonotthan Harrison (born August 25, 1991) is an American professional football player. He plays as a center, which is a key position on the offensive line. Harrison played college football at the University of Florida. After the 2014 NFL draft, he joined the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted player.

Early Life and Sports

Jonotthan Harrison grew up in Groveland, Florida. He went to South Lake High School. There, he was a talented athlete in both football and track. He played as an offensive lineman for the Eagles football team. He was teammates with other future stars like Jeff Demps and Nick Waisome.

Harrison was recognized as a top player. He was named the Offensive Lineman of the Year at the Offense/Defense All-American Bowl. The Orlando Sentinel also picked him for their first-team All-Central Florida list. In track and field, he showed his strength by competing in the shot put and the discus throw.

College Football Career

Harrison earned a scholarship to play football at the University of Florida. He played for the Florida Gators football team from 2010 to 2013. He joined the university in January 2009. He spent his first year, 2009, as a "redshirt" player. This means he practiced with the team but did not play in games.

In 2013, as a senior, he was a team captain. He started all 12 games that season as the center. During his four years at college, he played in 51 games. He started 39 of those games. Harrison also worked hard in his studies. He graduated from the University of Florida in 2013. He earned bachelor's degrees in criminal justice and anthropology.

Professional Football Journey

After college, Jonotthan Harrison hoped to join the NFL. He was considered one of the best centers available in the 2014 NFL draft. Even though he wasn't picked in the draft, he still got a chance to play professionally.

Indianapolis Colts

On May 12, 2014, Harrison signed with the Indianapolis Colts. He made his first NFL appearance on September 7, 2014. This was in a game against the Denver Broncos. In his first year, 2014, he played in 15 games. He started 10 of those games.

In 2015, Harrison played in all 16 games for the Colts. He started nine games as the center. The next year, 2016, he played in 13 games. He started four of them.

New York Jets

Harrison joined the New York Jets on March 28, 2017. In his first season with the Jets, he played in eight games. He started one of those games.

On March 28, 2018, Harrison signed again with the Jets. He played in all 16 games that season. He started eight games as the team's center. He re-signed with the Jets on March 9, 2019. However, he was released by the team on September 5, 2020.

Buffalo Bills

On September 19, 2020, Harrison joined the Buffalo Bills. He was signed to their practice squad. He was temporarily moved to the active roster for a game on December 18. This was for their week 15 game against the Broncos. After the game, he returned to the practice squad.

New York Giants

Harrison signed with the New York Giants on February 24, 2021. He was released by the team on August 31, 2021. He later re-signed with their practice squad on September 22, 2021. Unfortunately, on October 9, 2021, Harrison suffered an Achilles injury. This injury placed him on the team's injury reserve list.

Atlanta Falcons

On June 16, 2022, Harrison signed with the Atlanta Falcons. He was released on August 30, 2022. He later rejoined their practice squad on November 8, 2022. He signed a new contract with the Falcons on January 9, 2023. However, he was released again by the Falcons on August 29, 2023.

Miami Dolphins

On December 13, 2023, Jonotthan Harrison signed with the Miami Dolphins. He joined their active roster.
