Joshua "Zeus" White (March 8, 1977 – June 9, 2020) was an American football player. He was known as a strong fullback and linebacker. Josh played for six seasons in the Arena Football League (AFL). He played for teams like the New York Dragons and Dallas Desperados.

Early Life and High School Football
Josh White started playing high school football in Honolulu, Hawaii. He attended Admiral Arthur W. Radford High School. Later, he moved to Farrington High School for his senior year. This happened when his stepfather's military job moved the family.
At Farrington, Josh was an amazing running back. He earned first-team all-state honors. A childhood accident when he was one year old left him blind in his left eye. This did not stop him from playing football.
College Football Career
Josh White began his college football journey at Snow College. He played for the Snow Badgers in 1996. That year, he helped his team achieve a great 10–1 record. They also won the Western States Football League title.
During 1996, Josh ran for 619 yards and scored nine touchdowns. He also caught 33 passes for 352 yards and one touchdown. His excellent performance earned him the Offensive MVP award at the 1996 Midwest Bowl.
After Snow College, Josh played for the California Bears. He was with the University of California, Berkeley from 1997 to 1999. In his college career, he rushed for 339 yards and scored five touchdowns.
Professional Football Journey
Josh White started his professional career in the af2 league. He played for the Hawaiian Islanders from 2002 to 2003.
In November 2003, he joined the New York Dragons. He played for the Dragons during the 2004 and 2005 seasons.
Later, Josh played for the Austin Wranglers and the Utah Blaze in 2006. He then moved to the Dallas Desperados. He played for the Desperados from 2006 to 2008. In 2007, he was recognized as a Second Team All-Arena player. This was a big honor in the Arena Football League.
In 2010, Josh played for the Dallas Vigilantes. He also joined the Chicago Rush in the same year.
Personal Life and Family
After his football career, Josh White moved back to Hawaii. His oldest son followed in his footsteps, playing offensive line at Saint Louis School. Josh was a family man. He was survived by his wife, Ginger, their four children, and three grandchildren.
