The Story of Joya
Joya was created by a company named Cia. Topo Chico. This company was known for making mineral water. For many years, Joya sodas were mostly sold in just a few parts of Mexico, like the states of Nuevo Leon and northern Tamaulipas.
Over time, Joya started to become more widely available. In 2004, people in Coahuila and parts of San Luis Potosí could enjoy Joya. The next year, in 2005, Joya reached states like Sinaloa, Chihuahua, and Baja California.
A big change happened for Joya in 2004. The Coca-Cola Company bought the brand. This helped Joya reach even more places. By 2006, Joya sodas were introduced in Hidalgo, and parts of Morelos and Puebla. Today, Joya continues to be a favorite fruit soda for many people in Mexico.
