João Ricardo Rosa Catarré (born August 5, 1980) is a famous Portuguese actor and model. He has been on Portuguese TV shows almost every year since 2003. He is well-known for his many roles.

João Catarré was born on August 5, 1980. Before becoming an actor, he worked as a professional model. This was in 1999, while he was studying IT Management at the Lusophone University.
He appeared in many TV commercials. Later, he decided to work in "showbiz" full-time. To prepare, João Catarré took acting classes.
