Judith Eva Barsi (June 6, 1978 – July 25, 1988) was a young American actress. She became famous for her work in television and movies. Judith also used her voice for popular animated characters. She is best known for voicing Ducky in The Land Before Time and Anne-Marie in All Dogs Go to Heaven.
Early Life of Judith Barsi
Judith Barsi was born in Los Angeles County, California. Her birthday was June 6, 1978. Her parents, József and Maria Barsi, came to the U.S. from Hungary. They left their home country after the Hungarian Revolution of 1956. Her parents met in California.
Judith Barsi's Acting Career
Judith's mother, Maria, helped her start acting when she was five years old. Judith's first role was in a TV miniseries called Fatal Vision. After that, she appeared in many commercials. She also had guest roles in several TV shows.
Judith also acted in movies. One of her film roles was in Jaws: The Revenge. She was also known for her voice acting. She voiced the character Ducky in the animated movie The Land Before Time. She also voiced Anne-Marie in All Dogs Go to Heaven. Both of these voice roles were released after her death.
By the time she was in fourth grade, Judith was earning a lot of money. She made about $100,000 per year. This was a very large amount for a child actress at that time.
