In 1973, she married Angelo Castro Jr., who was also a broadcaster. They had three children: Diego, Gabriella, and Angelica. Diego later became an actor and news anchor, just like his parents.

Her Acting Career

June Keithley, along with Father James Reuter and others, quickly set up a new radio station called Radyo Bandido. They broadcasted from a hidden booth at DZRJ-AM in Sta. Mesa, Manila.

Even though they were very close to the presidential palace, government forces could not find them. Radyo Bandido became a key way for people to get updates about the revolution.
