Justin Aronel Howard (born August 22, 1981) is an American former professional basketball player. He played as a center and stands 6 feet 11 inches tall. Justin is from Orlando, Florida. He had a long career playing basketball in many different countries.

College Basketball Journey
Justin Howard played college basketball for Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. He was part of the team from 1999 to 2003. In his final year, he was one of the team captains. His team, the Mercer Bears, won the Atlantic Sun Conference championship. Justin was also recognized for his good grades, making the all-academic team for three out of his four years. When he first joined Mercer in 1999, he was 6 feet 9 inches tall and weighed 335 pounds. By the end of his college career, he had grown to 6 feet 11 inches and weighed 255 pounds.
Professional Basketball Career
After finishing college in 2003, Justin Howard began his professional basketball career. He played for many teams around the world.
Early Career in Latin America
Justin started his professional journey in Mexico in 2003. He played for the Zorros de Morelia. He was a top player, averaging 21.7 points and 10.8 rebounds per game. He also led the league in rebounding that season.
In 2004, he played in Chile for the Liga Sudamericana. His team made history by being the first from Chile to win their group stage. This allowed them to move on to the knockout rounds of the South American Basketball Championship. He also played briefly in Argentina and China in 2004.
Justin returned to Mexico in 2005. He continued to play very well, scoring 24.7 points and grabbing 11.8 rebounds per game. He helped his team, Fuerza Regia de Monterrey, reach the conference finals. In 2006, he played for two different leagues in Mexico. He even scored 34 points per game in one of them.
In 2007, Justin played in Argentina for the defending champions, Gimnasia y Esgrima de Comodoro Rivadavia. He also played in the South American Basketball Championship and briefly in Syria. In 2008, back in Mexico, he was second in the league for rebounds and blocks. He averaged 22.7 points and 10.9 rebounds per game.
Playing in Europe
From 2008 to 2009, Justin began his career in Europe. He joined BG Karlsruhe in Germany's second basketball league. He was one of the top rebounders in the league, averaging 14 points and 9 rebounds per game.
In the 2009–2010 season, he moved to Spain to play for CB Guadalajara. He was recognized as an Honorable Mention player for the league. He also finished second in the league for rebounding, with averages of 14.8 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.
He stayed in Spain for the 2010–2011 season, playing for BC Andorra. His team made it all the way to the league finals. He led his team in rebounds and was their second-highest scorer.
Justin returned to BG Karlsruhe in Germany for the 2011–2012 season. He had an amazing performance, averaging 16.3 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. He led the league in rebounding and was recognized as the "Center of the Year" by Eurobasket. He was also named to the All-Pro A first team, All-Imports team, and All-Defensive team for the league.
Adventures in Asia
In 2013, Justin moved to Asia. He played for Saigon Heat in Vietnam, which was part of the Asean Basketball League. He had impressive stats, leading the league in points with 20.43 per game. He was also third in rebounding.
Later in 2013, he played in Thailand for the Thailand Basketball League. He averaged 26.8 points and 15.7 rebounds per game. He helped his team reach the semifinals. In 2014, he played for the defending champions, Hi-Tech Bangkok City, also in Thailand.
From 2015 to 2017, Justin played for the Singapore Slingers in the Asean Basketball League. He was named the ABL Defensive Player of the Year in the 2016–2017 season. He continued to play in Asia until 2018, including for Chong Son Kung Fu and again for Hi-Tech Bangkok City.
