Becoming a Top Model
Hyoni Kang started her modeling career in February 2008. Her first big job was opening the 3.1 Phillip Lim fashion show in New York City. Later that year, she opened the Trovata show and closed the Nanette Lepore show. She also walked for other famous designers like DKNY and Michael Kors.
In 2009 and 2010, Hyoni continued to walk in many fashion shows. She worked for designers such as Badgley Mischka and Tory Burch in New York. She also walked in shows in London. Hyoni even opened and closed shows for designers like Maria Cornejo and Karen Walker.
Besides walking on runways, Hyoni also appeared in many famous magazines. In April 2008, she was on the cover of Vogue Korea. She also appeared in Teen Vogue and Marie Claire magazines.
