Karl Collins is a British actor. He is famous for his roles on TV shows. You might know him as Danny Glaze in The Bill, Louis Loveday in Hollyoaks, or Shaun Temple in Doctor Who. Early Life and Acting Journey
Karl Collins was born in Nottingham, England. He grew up in a place called the Clifton housing estate. When he was a child, he joined a group called the Central Junior Television Workshop. This group helped him get started in acting. He appeared in early TV shows like Dramarama and Your Mother Wouldn't Like It.
In the early 1990s, Karl played a car thief named 'Craven' in the popular show EastEnders. He stole a car from a character named Frank Butcher.
He later became well-known for playing DC Danny Glaze in the police drama The Bill. He also appeared in other medical dramas like Casualty and Holby City. You might have seen him in As Time Goes By and 55 Degrees North. Karl also acted in the film Twenty Four Seven.
In 2011, he was in an episode of the science fiction series Black Mirror called "The Entire History of You". In 2015, he appeared in the TV show "Our Zoo". He also performed in a play called One Monkey Don't Stop No Show in 2013.
Karl Collins played Shaun Temple, who was Donna Noble's fiancé, in the Doctor Who Christmas Special "The End of Time" in 2009. He returned to Doctor Who in 2023, this time as Donna Noble's husband.
On February 10, 2015, it was announced that Karl would join the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks. He played a new character named Louis Loveday. His first appearance was on March 3, 2015. His character left the show on January 22, 2019, when Louis was killed by Breda McQueen.
