Karolina Wydra was born in Opole, Poland. She has a rare birth condition in her left eye called coloboma. This means part of her eye did not fully close during development.

Her mother was a mathematics teacher, and her father taught art. In 1992, when Karolina was 11, her family moved to Orange County, California, in the United States. There, her parents started a cleaning business. Her parents separated in 2012, and her mother later moved back to Poland.

In October 1997, Karolina Wydra won a modeling contest called the Elite Lee Jeans Model Look Contest. Since then, she has appeared in many advertisements. Early Acting Roles
