Keewaydin (pronounced kee-WAY-din) is a friendly neighborhood located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It's part of the larger Nokomis community. This area is known for being home to most of the beautiful Lake Nokomis, a popular spot for outdoor fun!
Keewaydin is represented by two different areas, called Wards, on the Minneapolis City Council. These are Ward 11 and Ward 12. Currently, the people who represent Keewaydin on the city council are Emily Koski and Aurin Chowdhury.
Keewaydin also works closely with other nearby neighborhoods. It shares a special group called the Nokomis East Neighborhood Association (NENA) with the Minnehaha, Morris Park, and Wenonah neighborhoods. This group helps make the area a great place to live.
