Keith Harkin is a talented singer and songwriter from Northern Ireland. He was also a member of the popular Irish music group Celtic Thunder.

Keith Harkin's Music Journey
Early Days and Instruments
Keith Harkin is a singer and songwriter. He plays many instruments, including the guitar, mandolin, banjo, ukulele, and piano. In 2005, he traveled to London to record music. He also performed at different places and festivals in England.
In 2006, Keith played the main character in an Irish TV show called Dha Theanga on BBC TV. He also helped change and arrange the music for the show. People at BBC Radio Ulster even called him the "Irish Jack Johnson" because of his musical style.
Joining Celtic Thunder
Keith Harkin was part of the famous group Celtic Thunder. This group performed in the United States, Canada, and Australia. Celtic Thunder had many successful albums and DVDs. They reached the number one spot on the World Billboard charts several times.
Keith started working with Celtic Thunder in 2007. He even wrote a song for the group called "Lauren and I." After almost ten years with the group, he decided to take a break. He wanted to tour on his own and create more of his own songs.
Solo Albums and Success
Keith Harkin released his first solo album in 2012. It was simply called Keith Harkin. This album was very popular, reaching high spots on music charts. It even featured a duet with the famous singer Colbie Caillat. They sang a cover of Van Morrison's song "Have I Told You Lately".
His second solo album, Mercy Street, came out in 2015. Keith wrote all the songs on this album himself. He recorded them live, meaning he sang and played them all in one go. Mercy Street became a number one album on the World Music Billboard charts.
In 2016, Keith released a Christmas album called Nollaig. This album also reached number one on the World Music Billboard charts. It included both new songs and classic Christmas tunes. The Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra even played on some of the tracks. Keith's eighth studio album, Man of Many Hearts, was released in 2022.

Keith Harkin was born in Derry, Northern Ireland. He now lives in Portugal with his wife, Kelsey, whom he married in 2016, and their son.
