Keith Harkin is a singer and songwriter who can play many instruments. He is skilled at the guitar, mandolin, banjo, ukulele, and piano.

In 2005, Keith traveled to London to record music with a producer named Andy Wright. He also performed at different places and festivals across England.

Time with Celtic Thunder

Keith was a big part of the popular group Celtic Thunder. They performed in the United States, Canada, and Australia. Celtic Thunder had two DVDs and three albums that reached number one on the World Billboard charts. Keith joined the band in 2007. He even wrote a song for the group called "Lauren and I."

After almost ten years with Celtic Thunder, Keith decided to take a break. He wanted to tour on his own and create more of his own songs. Some of his original songs include "How I Wish," "Daisy Fields," and "All Day Long."

Solo Albums and Success

Keith Harkin released his first solo album, named after himself, in 2012. It came out in Canada in September and in the United States later that month. He signed with Verve Records, a record label, thanks to Grammy Award-winning producer David Foster.

This album did very well! It reached number 8 on Amazon's Pop Music Charts. It also hit number 1 on Amazon's International charts even before it was officially released. The album features a special duet with two-time Grammy Award winner Colbie Caillat. They sang a cover of Van Morrison's famous song "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You."

Keith's second solo album, Mercy Street, came out in October 2015. Keith wrote all the songs on this album himself. He even paid for the album's production. He recorded all the songs live in just one take, which means he played and sang them perfectly from start to finish. Mercy Street also reached number one on the World Music Billboard charts.

In 2016, Keith released a solo Christmas album called Nollaig. This album also became number one on the World Music Billboard charts. It was produced by Brian Byrne and recorded at his home studio. The album has a mix of new songs and classic Christmas tunes. The Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra even played on some of the tracks.

Keith's eighth studio album, Man of Many Hearts, was released in the fall of 2022.
