Keith Jennings, who is 5 feet 7 inches tall, played as a point guard for East Tennessee State University. He played there for four years, from 1987 to 1991. During his college career, he was known by his nickname "Mister." His father gave him this nickname when he was a child.
In 1991, Keith won the Frances Pomeroy Naismith Award. This award is given to the best college senior who is six feet tall or shorter. He was also chosen as a second-team All-American, which means he was one of the best college players in the country. Professional Playing Career
Even though Keith Jennings was not chosen in the 1991 NBA draft, he still made it to the NBA. He joined the Golden State Warriors as a free agent. He played for the Warriors for three seasons, from 1992 to 1995. During this time, he played in 164 games. On average, he scored 6.6 points and made 3.7 assists per game.
One of his best games in the NBA was on April 22, 1995. He scored 23 points in that game, which was almost his last regular season game with the Warriors. He shot very well, making 8 out of 10 shots from the field and 3 out of 4 three-pointers. He also made all 4 of his free throws. In that game, he also had 10 assists, showing how well he could pass the ball. After his time with the Warriors, he was picked by the Toronto Raptors in the 1995 expansion draft, but he did not play for them. Keith also played professional basketball in Europe for many years. In the 2003–04 season, he played for a basketball club in Strasbourg, France.
