Kenndal McArdle (born January 4, 1987) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He played as a left winger in the National Hockey League (NHL). His NHL teams included the Florida Panthers and the Winnipeg Jets.

Kenndal McArdle's Hockey Journey
Starting Young in Hockey
Kenndal McArdle started playing ice hockey when he was young. In 2001, he played in the famous Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament. He was part of a youth team from Burnaby, Canada.
Playing in Junior Leagues
McArdle began his major junior career with the Moose Jaw Warriors. This team is part of the Western Hockey League (WHL). His best season in the WHL was in 2004–05. He scored 37 goals and earned 74 points that year.
After this great season, the Florida Panthers chose him in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. He was the 20th player picked overall.
Winning Gold and a Championship
In December 2006, McArdle moved to the Vancouver Giants. He was traded to this WHL team. Later that month, he joined Team Canada. They played in the 2007 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. Kenndal helped his team win a gold medal!
He finished the 2006–07 season with the Giants. They won the 2007 Memorial Cup, which is a big championship.
First Steps as a Pro Player
After junior hockey, McArdle joined the Rochester Americans. This team plays in the American Hockey League (AHL). This was his first professional season in 2007–08. He scored 10 points in 36 games. He also played a few games in the ECHL for the Florida Everblades.
In the 2008–09 season, McArdle played even better. He scored 24 points in 58 games for the Americans. He also got to play in three NHL games. His first NHL game was on December 2, 2008. The Panthers won that game against the Washington Capitals.
On January 23, 2010, McArdle scored his very first NHL goal. It was for the Panthers against Jonas Gustavsson of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Moving to the Winnipeg Jets
On July 8, 2011, McArdle was traded to the Winnipeg Jets. He was part of the Jets' first team in the 2011–12 season. After playing nine games, he was sent to their AHL team, the St. John's IceCaps. He scored 7 goals in 35 games there. Later, he moved to another AHL team, the Portland Pirates.
Playing in Europe and Retirement
After his time with the Jets, McArdle played in other leagues. He played for the Greenville Road Warriors in the ECHL. Then, he signed with the Rockford IceHogs in the AHL.
On May 13, 2013, McArdle signed his first contract in Europe. He joined VIK Västerås HK in Sweden. After a good season there, he decided to retire from hockey. He secured a job in investment banking in Vancouver.
Awards and Achievements
- Gold Medal Winner: Kenndal won a gold medal with Team Canada. This was at the 2007 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships.
- Memorial Cup Champion: He helped the Vancouver Giants win the 2007 Memorial Cup. This made them champions of the CHL.
