Kenndal McArdle (born January 4, 1987) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He played as a left winger for the Florida Panthers and the Winnipeg Jets in the National Hockey League (NHL).

Kenndal McArdle's Hockey Journey
Early Years and Junior Hockey
Kenndal McArdle started playing ice hockey when he was young. In 2001, he played in the famous Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a team from Burnaby, Canada.
He began his junior hockey career with the Moose Jaw Warriors in the Western Hockey League (WHL). His best season with the Warriors was in 2004–05. That year, he scored 37 goals and earned 74 points, showing he was a strong player.
Drafted by the NHL
Because of his great performance, Kenndal was chosen in the first round of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. The Florida Panthers picked him as the 20th overall player. This was a big step towards his dream of playing in the NHL.
Winning Gold and a Championship
In December 2006, Kenndal was traded to the Vancouver Giants in the WHL. Later that same month, he was chosen to play for Team Canada in the 2007 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. He helped his team win a gold medal at this important international tournament.
He also helped the Vancouver Giants win the 2007 Memorial Cup championship. This made them the best junior hockey team in Canada that year.
Professional Career and NHL Debut
After his junior career, Kenndal joined the Rochester Americans in the American Hockey League (AHL). This was his first professional season. He also played a few games in the ECHL for the Florida Everblades.
In the 2008–09 season, Kenndal got to play in his first three NHL games with the Florida Panthers. He made his NHL debut on December 2, 2008. On January 23, 2010, he scored his first NHL goal against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Moving to the Winnipeg Jets
On July 8, 2011, Kenndal was traded to the Winnipeg Jets. He was part of the Jets' team for their first season back in the NHL in 2011–12. After playing nine games with the Jets, he was sent to their AHL team, the St. John's IceCaps. He later played for the Portland Pirates in the AHL.
Playing in Europe and Retirement
In 2012, Kenndal played for the Greenville Road Warriors in the ECHL and then for the Rockford IceHogs in the AHL.
In 2013, Kenndal decided to play hockey in Europe. He signed a one-year contract with VIK Västerås HK in Sweden. After a good season there, he decided to retire from professional hockey in July 2014. He chose to start a new career in investment banking in Vancouver.
Awards and Achievements
- Won a gold medal with Team Canada at the World Junior Ice Hockey Championships in 2007.
