Kenneth Walker III (born October 20, 2000) is an American professional football player. He is a running back for the Seattle Seahawks in the National Football League (NFL). Kenneth played college football for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons and Michigan State Spartans. In 2021, he won two big awards: the Walter Camp Award and the Doak Walker Award. The Seattle Seahawks chose him in the 2022 NFL Draft. He became a Super Bowl MVP in the 2025 season.

Kenneth Walker III's Early Life and High School Football
Kenneth Walker III was born on October 20, 2000, in Arlington, Tennessee. He grew up loving football. He went to Arlington High School. There, he played on the school's football team. During his high school career, he ran for an amazing 3,485 yards. He also scored 41 touchdowns. After high school, he decided to play college football at Wake Forest University.

Kenneth started his college football career at Wake Forest. He played there for two seasons, in 2019 and 2020.
Playing for Wake Forest
During his time with the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, Kenneth showed great skill. He ran for a total of 1,158 yards. He carried the ball 217 times and scored 17 touchdowns. After the 2020 season, he decided to transfer to another university.
Starring at Michigan State
Kenneth moved to Michigan State University for the 2021 season. He quickly became the main running back for the Spartans. In his very first game with Michigan State, he had an incredible performance. He ran for 264 yards and scored four touchdowns! This was a huge start to his season.
His amazing play continued throughout 2021. He won the Doak Walker Award, given to the best college running back. He also received the Walter Camp Award, which honors the best college football player. Kenneth finished 6th in the voting for the Heisman Trophy. This award goes to the most outstanding player in college football. He was also named a Consensus All-American. This means he was recognized as one of the best players in the country. After this successful season, he decided to enter the 2022 NFL draft. He chose to skip his final year of college.

Joining the Seattle Seahawks (2022)
The Seattle Seahawks picked Kenneth Walker III in the second round of the 2022 NFL draft. He was the 41st player chosen overall. He made his NFL debut in Week 2 of the 2022 season.
In Week 5, he scored a long 69-yard rushing touchdown against the New Orleans Saints. He became the starting running back for the Seahawks later that season. In Week 7, he had a fantastic game against the Los Angeles Chargers. He rushed for 167 yards and scored two touchdowns.
