Kenneth Lee Higgs Jr. (born January 31, 1955) is an American former professional basketball player. He played for three seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The NBA is the top professional basketball league in North America.

Early Life and High School Basketball
Kenny Higgs was born in Owensboro, Kentucky. He went to Owensboro High School. In 1972, he led his high school team to a big win. They won the KHSAA Sweet Sixteen State Championship. They beat Elizabethtown 71–63 in the final game.
College Basketball Career
After high school, Higgs played college basketball at Louisiana State University (LSU). He played there from 1974 to 1978. He holds a special record in the Southeastern Conference. He shares the record for the most assists in a single game with 19. An assist is when a player helps a teammate score a basket.
Professional Basketball Career
In 1978, the Cleveland Cavaliers picked Kenny Higgs in the NBA draft. He was the 13th pick in the third round. He played one season with the Cavaliers.
Later, he played for the Denver Nuggets from 1980 to 1981. His best season was in 1980–81 with the Nuggets. He averaged 7.8 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game.
